About the Role

This role is part of the Capex Project Management team, providing essential coordination and administrative support to enable safe, controlled and efficient project delivery. You’ll work closely with the UK Capex Delivery Lead and leadership team, acting as a central point across project, commercial and safety processes.

You will play a key role in ensuring that project governance, cost control and system workflows are maintained to a high standard, supporting multiple projects and stakeholders across the site.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing SAP-based procurement and finance processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, service entries and accruals
  • Supporting Capex cost tracking, timewriting and supplier invoicing, ensuring accurate financial oversight of projects
  • Coordinating SIMS action tracking and safety documentation, helping drive closure of overdue actions
  • Acting as the first point of contact for SAP, MyEssar and IT-related queries within the Capex team
  • Organising leadership team meetings, travel, reporting and document control
  • Working across the project delivery network, including Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, HR and HSSEQ, as well as external contractors and suppliers

About You

You’re an experienced administrator or coordinator who understands the demands of working within a project, engineering or operational environment, where structure, accuracy and follow-through are essential to delivery.
You bring a strong understanding of process-driven environments, and are confident supporting teams with financial, system and safety-related activities.
You will bring:

  • Experience using SAP or similar systems, particularly across procurement, invoicing and cost tracking
  • Strong attention to detail when handling financial data, project documentation and safety records
  • The ability to coordinate across multiple projects, teams and competing priorities
  • A structured approach to tracking actions, maintaining documentation and meeting deadlines
  • Confidence in acting as a go-to contact for system queries, process guidance and issue resolution
  • Experience supporting project teams, site-based operations or safety and training processes will be particularly valuable, as will the ability to build effective working relationships across a wide stakeholder group.
