**The Role

 

Following the success of our recent acquisitions and the launch of our company leased dealer operated (CLDO) business model for our retail business, we have ambitious plans to accelerate the growth of our Essar retail brand and rapidly scale up our forecourt network across the country.

 

With a fresh approach to forecourt retailing and seamless integration with our Stanlow refinery which is set to become the UK’s first low carbon process refinery, we’re redefining forecourt experiences and transforming filling stations into hubs of community convenience with the brands and services customers want and need.

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a CR Pricing and Partnerships Coordinator to join our Retail team.  In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and monitoring of the country’s convenience store pricing strategy. The CR Pricing and Partnerships Coordinator will mainly focus on analysing and monitoring the Pricebook of the store range as well as conducting market assessments to guarantee competitiveness, communicating with commercial partners and constantly reviewing industry trends through field visits.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 

Pricing Management-

  • Analyse cost, price and margin by categories and competitors at item level.
  • Act on market trends that drive changes in profitability.
  • Optimisation of store price book in collaboration with commercial partners.
  • Analyse market research information.

CR Information Systems-

  • Management POS systems and similar software.
  • Analysis and implementation of KPI’s.

 

CR Promotional Plan-

  • Support the design and implementation of promotional plans based on profitability analysis.

 

CR Profitability-

  • Implement and monitor price, cost and margin for categories and subcategories at item level.
  • Develop and execute specific plans to ensure pricing optimisation.
  • Support the P&L analysis of the area.
  • Ensure Rebates and listing fees are agreeing suppliers and billed monthly / quarterly.

 

Projects-

  • Support CR Manager in delivering key business initiatives through scenario planning and analysis.

 

 

**About You

 

Job Knowledge, Skills, And Experience:

 

Qualification-

 

  • Essential- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail, Data/Business Analytics, other related areas, or experience

 

Experience

 

  • Extensive experience in category management, P&L management, and merchandising.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and retail merchandising fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of retail operations and sales.
