**The Role

 

Following the success of our recent acquisitions and the launch of our company leased dealer operated (CLDO) business model for our retail business, we have ambitious plans to accelerate the growth of our Essar retail brand and rapidly scale up our forecourt network across the country.

 

With a fresh approach to forecourt retailing and seamless integration with our Stanlow refinery which is set to become the UK’s first low carbon process refinery, we’re redefining forecourt experiences and transforming filling stations into hubs of community convenience with the brands and services that customers want and need.

 

Join our Retail team for an exciting opportunity as a Contract Manager Coordinator! This role plays a crucial part in developing and implementing our retail Operations Contract management model, with a specific focus on recruitment, onboarding, financial management, and training of contract managers.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 

Contract manager onboarding-

 

  • Full KYC checks with references
  • Internal account set ups.
  • Trade account set ups (Londis, 3rd party vendors)
  • Deposit assessment.
  • Minor Contract negotiation contract management

 

Contract manager renumeration model-

 

  • Agree Opex with comop.
  • To include labour (numbers of staff, hours worked, hourly rate).

 

Contract manager True ups-

 

  • Earnings assessments – with credits or debits applicable depending on Actual earning v OTE + 25% capped uplift.
  • Ensuring daily payments are received from Com op’s (if applicable).

 

Daily financial reconciliations-

 

  • Overseeing all reporting for each site and monthly estate wide P+L’s
  • Capturing and reporting all Opex and capex lines for all sites to credential for the above.

 

Organisation of training programs for Contract managers-

 

  • Point of sale provider
  • Credential
  • All site required training (age restricted sales, competent persons, General forecourt, and fire safety)

 

**About You

 

Job Knowledge, Skills, And Experience:

 

Qualification-

 

  • Preferred-   Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Management, or related areas or demonstratable relevant experience.

 

Experience

 

  • Extensive experience in category management and merchandising.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and retail merchandising fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of retail operations and sales.
