**The Role

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic individual to join our Cyber Security Team as a Cyber Security Analyst.  The purpose of this role is to support Cyber Security Operations Team, collaborate with IT Infrastructure team, in effective cyber security threat management and incident response across the organisation.

 

Primary Accountabilities:

 

Threat Management

 

  • Troubleshoot both security and network issues
  • Monitor, Detect and Respond to Cybersecurity incident and apply escalation points defined by Head of Department
  • Work with partnered MSP to ensure Cybersecurity Posture is being actively monitored and any remediation and recommendation are being applied
  • Monitor EOUKL Security Management system and assist in application of responses to identified threats

 

Vulnerability Management

 

  • Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities
  • Review state of IT Infrastructure, identify potential vulnerability and apply relevant patches
  • Actively participate in Change Control Process
  • Manage Active Directory and its interfaces to other Security Systems
  • Report on identified risks and issues and suggest remediation methods

 

Compliance

 

  • Provide ongoing support to other members of the team in making sure regulatory compliance is managed
  • Maintain desired level of GDPR and NIS compliance as defined by Head of Information & Data Security

 

 

Project Support

 

  • Assist in technical delivery and adoption of new security systems to ensure safe IT environment.
  • Work with IT Security Lead and OT Security Lead on Projects Delivery. 

 

Cyber Security Risk Response

 

  • Work on Cyber Security initiatives assigned by Line Manager to improve overall Cyber Security Posture of EOUKL
  • Actions Tasks assigned by the Managed SOC team
  • Support EOUKL End Users and 3rd parties in addressing Cyber Security measures in the organisation
  • Act as first line support for Cyber Security matters
  • Work with Operational Technology team in enhancing their cybersecurity posture

 

 

**About You

 

Our ideal candidate should have the following:

 

Experience

 

  • Experience in detecting and responding to Cyber Security incidents
  • Experience of working with Managed Service Provider would be useful
  • Manufacturing Experience Desirable
  • Experience of working in highly regulated environment Desirable
  • Experience in managing incidents in Tier level escalation-based environment
  • Experience of working in IT Helpdesk Support role
  • Working within a Windows enterprise environment
  • Working with cloud environments e.g., Office 365, Azure AD
  • Working with security solutions: SIEM, EDR, NDR, Firewalls, Web Proxy, CASB, DLP, Vulnerability Scanners
  • Detecting and responding to Security incidents

 

Qualifications

  • A degree in Cybersecurity/Information Security, Computer Science, IT, systems engineering or a related qualification that is connected to the fields of information security and information technology.
  • Industry relevant professional qualifications e.g., Sec+, CySa+, Vendor Specific – desirable

 

Skills and Attributes

 

  • Demonstrable engagement with continuous learning – essential
  • Hands on – troubleshooting and remediating Cyber Security Incidents
  • Reading Technical Documentation and translate it into day-to-day responsibilities
  • Good Communicator at IT and Non-IT Level
  • Time and Priority Management including escalations
  • Excellent Customer Services skills
  • Working under pressure and tight deadlines
