About the Company
Essar Retail Ventures Limited (ERVL) is the dedicated retail business being carved out from Essar Oil UK (EET Fuels) as part of the wider Essar Energy Transition strategy. The transition to establish ERVL as a standalone subsidiary is currently underway, creating a focused organisation responsible for operating, developing, and expanding Essar’s UK retail fuel network, including dealer‑owned (DODO) and company‑owned (CLDO/COCO) sites.
ERVL will enable a sharper commercial and operational focus as the Retail business continues to scale its network, enhance convenience offerings, deploy digital retail solutions, and support future-facing customer propositions. As part of Essar’s long‑term energy transition ambitions, ERVL will play a key role in delivering high‑quality retail experiences, network growth, and new mobility solutions across the UK.

- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure data integrity across operational systems.
- Coordinate daily fuel deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Liaise with hauliers, terminal operators, supply teams and site teams to manage delivery schedules and resolve operational challenges.
- Monitor network stock levels and escalate risks relating to low stock, delivery delays or supply interruptions.
- Prepare and distribute fuel movement and operational performance reports.
- Support operational governance, compliance requirements and audit activities.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency and cost optimisation.
- Support the development and enhancement of digital reporting, scheduling and monitoring tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively and manage competing demands.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and operational systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
Desirable
- Experience within fuel, forecourt, retail, logistics or distribution operations.
- Knowledge of stock reconciliation and inventory management processes.
- Experience working with ERP, SAP or fuel management systems.
- Understanding of operational governance, compliance and audit requirements.
What You'll Bring
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
