**The Role

Non-Rotational Graduate Programme – Process Safety.  This programme focuses on developing the Process Safety skills required to provide technical safety support and advice to the site production units and business in general.  You will join our site Process Safety team which will allow you to gain a good understanding of how a Top Tier COMAH Site assesses all aspects of risks and manages these risks to reduce them to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) as per the legal requirement for continued operation of the site.  Process Safety spans into every aspect of our business and the programme will provide you the opportunity to work alongside other engineering disciplines, including Process Engineers in our Technology department as well as operations, maintenance and project teams.

Although not a rotational programme, there will be opportunities to carry out assignments across different areas of the Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ) team, to give you deeper exposure to related functions such as environmental, human factors and emergency response planning. The role will involve both working on projects and also day-to-day operational support relating to all aspects of safety, environmental and health risk identification and assessment such that they can be effectively managed.

Your Graduate programme will be designed to grow and develop your process safety skillset and associated learnings.

The Graduate programme is accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers and Graduates are actively encouraged to work towards Chartered Status with the IChemE. You will be assigned an IChemE Chartered mentor who will support you in taking the first steps towards Chartership.
