**The Role

 

EET Fuels currently has an exciting opportunity for the role of Maintenance Planner within the maintenance team at Stanlow.  The role holder will be involved in planning, scheduling and co-ordinating Maintenance Execution (ME) activities on top-tier COMAH refinery process plants.  The primary purpose of the role is to plan mechanical work in the field and translate these into chronologically sequenced tasks within the computerised management system (SAP).

 

The Maintenance Planner will precisely source the necessary materials, services, and documentation, as well as estimate the resources required to complete the tasks. Additionally, they will coordinate field activities involving EET Fuels and business partner resources.

 

  • Planning corrective, preventative and emergent maintenance tasks and assigning optimum durations and baselines.
  • Planning and scheduling work to ensure that there are zero overdue critical schedules.
  • Accountable for safe working and efficiency within the job planning and field execution processes.
  • Manage financial commitments and payment processes for third party spend.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is available, resources are arranged, and materials are delivered and kitted appropriately.
  • Supporting delivery of emergent and planned corrective work.
  • Planning and controlling planned spend such that all activities are funded correctly, and invoices are subsequently paid on time.
  • Chairing and supporting various meetings in relation to safety, schedule compliance, delivery and team development.

 

**About You

 

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in a maintenance technician and/or maintenance leadership role, with extensive knowledge of the Maintenance Execution end-to-end process and awareness of other general refinery business processes and systems. Knowledge of relevant engineering standards is also essential along with a detailed knowledge of materials management processes.

 

Candidates should have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with proficient use of IT tools, including SAP, Word and Excel.  They should also be able to work to tight deadlines, deal with competing priorities and have an analytical approach to the delivery of complex work scopes. An in-depth working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling would also be desirable.
