**The Role

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Operations team as an Operations Delivery Manager – OMS.  The role will be reporting to the Asset Manager and is responsible for management, equipping and skilling the shift operating teams and day operators assigned to the Stanlow Asset Area. This will enable them to deliver and achieve relevant operational performance and KPI’s.

 

The role will be responsible for overseeing effective and efficient operations and compliance to the daily schedule, “Delivering the Plan” and Product Quality.  Working with other stakeholders, the role will be responsible for input into the annual and monthly planning process, “deliver the plan”, and identify learnings in the event of deviations from plan.  The role will also support the planning of the operational aspects of plant Turnarounds and ensure good co-ordination between other departments to minimise plant downtime. 

The role holder will also be responsible for ensuring timely release of equipment for routine and statutory inspections and for identifying operational reliability improvements and participate in regular meetings associated to site relevant work process streams.

 

 

**About You

 

Our ideal candidate should ideally have a degree in a relevant technical field, or have significant relevant experience within Operations such as HNC.  You should also have PVO or PA status for Permit to work.  You should have significant experience within an Upper Tier COMAH Site within the UK, Western Europe or USA.  Demonstrable experience of leadership across a Unionised workforce and substantial and demonstrable experience of team working and delivery against testing objectives.  You should have excellent communication skills and be able to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have significant experience of leading a team to success and drive delivery.  You should be able to develop and examine data and produce both quantitative and qualitive data and be able to present it in a way that can easily be interpreted.
